Sexual behavior of youths and adolescents has attracted global attention. This is because the behavior has become a major public health concern that is associated with grave consequences on the youths, which include unwanted pregnancies, unsafe abortions, early childbearing, sexually transmitted diseases and even death (Alika, 2012).

ABSTRACT
Sexual and moral decadence in tertiary institutions in Nigeria is increasingly becoming rampant. Institutions of learning, where moral values ought to be acquired have become breeding ground for different kinds of immoral behavior and activities. The youth and adolescent often fall into a series of social problems like teenage pregnancy and unintended exposure to sexually transmitted disease which may be fatal. This paper is aimed at investigating the menace of sexuality and moral decadence in Nigerian tertiary institution and its implications for youth and adolescent counseling.
