ABSTRACT
The prevalence of evil in the world seems irreconcilable with the idea of a perfect God who is omnipotent, benevolent, and loving. Some thinkers have in their different capacities attempt to resolve this problem. The attempt here is to have a contemporary re-examination of this same problem. This study attempts to offer a solution to this perennial problem that has permeated the philosophic and religious traditions. The work takes for granted the fact of the existence and prevalence of evil in the world. It also takes for granted the reality of God. It argues and demonstrates that paradoxically, the qualities which people think if God possesses. He would not allow evil to exist are the very qualities he possesses that allow evil to exist. The reasons why people think God is not perfect are the very reasons that make Him perfect.
