ABSTRACT
There is a spiritual dimension in every human problem, and there is no human problem without a spiritual solution. Deeper commitment in religion/spirituality teaches that adversity and difficult circumstances are lessons meant for growth and perseverance. There is a purpose for everything that happens in a human life. If life is viewed as a classroom, then adversity and problems are the curriculum, that is, lessons for growth and transition to the next level. Through the guidance and influence of religion and spirituality, human beings become convinced that the problems of life are lessons meant to promote perseverance, courage, resilience, and growth in wisdom. The greater the trouble, the greater the prospect for learning and growth.
